*details of one time charges charged me thrice

*im still being charged for Sept per Second Sakto Calls
makes me wonder how accurate do they charged our every call and text.
i also experienced the internet charges that i didn’t use before.
i already reported this to the CSR after hours of waiting for them to answer their hotline.
no wonder callers to hotline tends to be irate. hopefully they will fix this soon.

Why I Hate Globe!

I have been a Globe prepaid user since Nokia 8210 was the ‘it’ phone. I have experienced the choppy signals, the out of the coverage area, the where did my messages go and the what the hell happened to my load, but I never really complained… until now. I guess I had enough of their crappy excuses, unreliable services and unhelpful agents.
Lets start with the iPhone 3Gs I bought last year from their Globe branch in Park Square, Makati. Remember the internet services and the 3G connection they were all yapping about? Well I couldn’t seem to make it work. And whenever I call or visit their customer service centers, all they can say is that “Sir ganun talaga eh. Try nyo na lang po ulit. Minsan mahirap lang po talaga kumuha ng signal”. After one year, I had never experienced it.
Second, we all know the hassle of communicating with our loved ones on holidays right? The network is jammed and the messages takes forever to reach you. Well, my iPhone 3Gs (from Globe) seems to have another issue.
My signal was lost for a week! And when it finally returned, I could not send any text message. But I do, however, could make phone calls. No one from Globe could explain the problem. I tweeted them via @talk2globe and the late response was useless.
Up to this day, whenever my load credit goes below 30 pesos, I won’t be able send any text message for a day or two. Even if I had already put a 150 pesos load credit.
So I finally decided to bite their offer for iPhone 4 and upgraded to postpaid. I figured they might be giving better services to their postpaid subscribers. However, no one told me the amount of agony I have deal with.
Thursday, Eric and I went to the Makati branches to see if they have stocks. Then we went to the branches in Ortigas and in Eastwood. Unfortunately, all branches have no stock.
I told Eric to call their hot-line and ask for the branches that have stocks. Unfortunately, they told him, to make reservations and they wont give out the number of their branches. We went to 7 branches that day, which we could have avoided if they just gave us the store numbers. We could have called and ask first before we wasted our time.
Friday, I went to SM Megamall. I decided to visit the Globe store and test my luck. They told me they have stock. Since I have all the requirements with me, including the Certificate of Employment and Compensation signed by my Boss — the owner from Australia. I decided to get the iPhone plan I wanted.
The Sales Representative Lynne Santos assisted me. She took all the requirements and even asked if I am going to use a Credit Card. The amount of time I waited is more than the amount of time she actually talked to me. I thought I was gonna get the phone. However, she have to make some verification first. They needed to verify my job and the salary I’m receiving. I guess the Certificate from my boss wasn’t enough.
She told me no one was answering in our office. I told her our office hours is from 7am to 4pm. She said she’ll make a call on Saturday morning. I got frustrated and told her we have no work on Saturdays. I asked if there is another way. I told her I already have a letter from my boss. I even pleaded saying I’ve been to 7 different stores. I had mentioned that I have a credit card I could afford to pay, all out of frustration. She told me there’s no other way but to wait ‘til Monday. She gave me her number and said she’ll call or text me when she had verified my work.
Monday afternoon, I tried calling. She wasn’t answering so I sent her a polite text message and reminded her of our office hours. Before heading to Megamall, I wanted to have assurance that I won’t waste my time. I live in Cavite and work in Makati… Megamall is a stretch. I tried calling her again but she’s not responding even through text messages. The persistent me went anyway.
I looked for Lynn and the first thing she asked me was “Sino ka?”. I told her who I am. She transferred me to a different Sales Representative and I waited for 2 hours before could talk to her.
She still needs to verify my work because, apparently, Lynn Santos did not indicated that it was verified already. The she asked if I have a Credit Card. She told me there’s no need to call my office because its already a proof from the bank of my financial capabilities. I cannot believe I went through all the waiting. I told her what happened and she said Lynn must have forgotten it.
So I gladly gave her my Credit Card and Driver’s License. She made me wait for more than 30 minutes then she transferred me to another Sales Representative, Aissa Racilla. She discussed about the features and the plan I was getting. She showed me a list of mobile numbers I could use and told me to wait for up to 48 hours in order to get my phone activated.
The next day, Tuesday. I couldn’t find my Driver’s License. I knew left it in Globe. Because the only time I would put out my License from my wallet is if I got caught by a traffic enforcer.
I need assurance that I left it in Globe before heading there. So, I called their hot-line for the branch’s number. But they won’t give it to me. I told her about my situation. They told me they don’t have any number of their branches. Which really made me furious since this is a different case. I said what the hell kind of telecommunication company are you if you don’t even know the number of your branches!
She hold me twice. I was raising my voice and said the F word somewhere in our conversation… and bullshit. Then she told me she’ll make the call to Megamall. Which made me even more furious. What the fuck! Alam nyo naman pala ung number eh bakit hindi pa ibigay sa akin. Seriously, what is wrong with them. She told that she’ll just update me. I gave her another F word and told her I don’t believe in her crap. I will just have to go to Megamall myself.
On my way, I was calling Lynn Santos but she’s not answering. When I got there, the guards told me to wait because Lynn wasn’t around and Aissa was on break. I waited for 1 hour. When Aissa finally came in, she wasn’t sure about it and needed to call Lynn.
When she came back with my license. She told me she found it near the copier. So it was their negligence! They did not gave it to me!
Before leaving the store, I mentioned about my phone activation. She said to wait up to 48 hours. So I waited… after 96 hours… my phone finally got activated.
